Nicolas Sawalo Cissé
Born in 1959, Cissé graduated from the Dakar School of Architecture in 1979. In 1980, he founded the Urvéco architecture firm, and has since been involved in numerous projects, exhibitions, publications, the African Designers Association and other artistic events. Moving into film In 2010, he founded Niciss Productions, his own film production company. His very first film, the short Blissi Ndiaye ou la visite de la dame (2010), was selected for the FESPACO2011 and the Festival d'Angers 2011.

Deeply respected and loved by the residents, he is always ready to listen to their concerns, sitting under the big mango tree where he welcomes their grievances and works tirelessly for the good of all. He has won the trust and admiration of everyone, from the children to the elders. But everything changed when he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. This ordeal profoundly alters not only his own existence, but also that of his family.
