About Director
The Agbajowo Collective is a group of filmmakers and young storytellers from informal settlements across Lagos, working collaboratively with international filmmakers to tell stories of resilience, justice, and community. Rooted in lived experience, members like Bisola Akinmuyiwa, Segun Elijah Atinkpo, Tina Edukpo, Okechukwu Samuel, and Temitope Ogungbamila bring authentic perspectives from Lagos' waterfront slums, while international collaborators James Tayler and Mathew Cerf support through creative mentorship and co-direction. Together, the Collective uses film as a tool for advocacy, amplifying marginalized voices and reclaiming the narrative of urban Africa.
