Nicolas Sawalo Cissé

Born in 1959, Cissé graduated from the Dakar School of Architecture in 1979. In 1980, he founded the Urvéco architecture firm, and has since been involved in numerous projects, exhibitions, publications, the African Designers Association and other artistic events. Moving into film In 2010, he founded Niciss Productions, his own film production company. His very first film, the short Blissi Ndiaye ou la visite de la dame (2010), was selected for the FESPACO2011 and the Festival d'Angers 2011.
